See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. – Isaiah 43:19

What would happen if you let go?  If you let go of who you thought you were, what you thought you’d do, where you expected to be at any point in your life and what you wanted to have. Can you accept that your life is not your own? This complete surrender and act of letting go is similar to the process of the butterfly coming out of the cocoon. There will be days when the cocoon begins to fall away and you’ll want to remain “inside” a bit longer, you’ll be questioned about how you’re changing and often the authenticity of your beauty will be doubted.  Though challenging, release your expectations, as well as those of others and focus fully on God. You are who God says you are.

What part of who you thought you were are you struggling to let go of?
